Being sheltered in the cocoon of my comfort, I was sleeping silently. With no one to disturb me and no one to awake me, I was just passing the days aimlessly. On a breezy morning a gust of wind came, and took me along with it. It dusted all the dried leaves around me and made my soul clean of any impurities. Now pure, I started my long journey and let the wind take me wherever it went. But, little did I know it would plant me on the top of a mountain. I was still scared to come out of my shell being a stranger to this unknown place.
Another gust of wind bought a bucket of clouds to shower me with some comfort and optimism that everything will be alright once a step into their world. I gathered all my courage and finally got out my coat. Sun gave me all the energy needed to survive the harsh winters. The old friends around me extended their arms above me to shelter me from all that is vicious. Under their shade I learnt to grow rigorously and felt safe and protected until I was able to hold my ground.
They guided me through every storm that tried to uproot me but, my foundation was laid very strong and my roots were very deep. Even the earth propelled me to open my wings and breathe in the solace that this nature offers us. I finally found my paradise with bliss flowing all around me. A seed from a no man’s land then grew high in the lap of haven. If you are reading this piece now that means the tree has borne its first fruit.
