Me and my solace usually talk to each other and discuss, how it would have felt if you were to be with us right now at this moment. You must have said about this or something about that. You could have filled this home with the sound of your laughter or get curious about every little thing around us. Where have we come darling, walking side by side, holding hand in hand. To have the shinning solace sometimes feel blissful but otherwise it feels hollow from inside.
There was warmth in your embrace when you held me close, otherwise everything seemed cold. But, now only those sweet memories keep me company in this unknown city. Is this the night that is so dark or the emptiness around that is nagging me again. The moon shines upon my solace and they keep me company through these lonely days. Are the stars really shinning so brightly or you have been smiling so passionately somewhere.
The night is so quiet that the rustling of the leaves feels like you are whispering something in my ear telling me the sweetest stories. I am having an internal monologue even after knowing you are not here that you can never be here, but still this heart keeps on hoping to find you in the shinning solace. There is so much that I want to talk about but alas there is no one to listen. But, I know no matter what, I will definitely find you in the next turn of life and we can be whole once again.
