Being lost in the chaos of this world, she tries to revive something old, something soulful. She takes her rabab and begins playing her beautiful melodies through it. The country strings echo once again in the neighborhood. The people passing by make a stop near her entrance. They try to peep through the tiny spaces in the gate, just to see the figure who is playing so beautifully.
Everyone’s curious to see hands who are playing such melodious tunes. They want to become the first person to discover such a raw talent. However, being unknown to the world outside, she keeps on playing her rabab. She remembers the feel of the chords against her soft fingers once again. She is reminded of the numerous tunes that she learnt from her grandmother in her childhood.
The memories rush back to her just as the waves of the ocean crashing to the shores. The lessons, the essence, the pleasure of such music all comes back to her once again in such a monotonous day. The country strings are thus revived once more behind the walls of someone who’s unknown.
